Registration and inspection

Your vehicle must be currently registered in your name (or your business's) and carry a valid Massachusetts inspection sticker where required. Keep these current the whole time your car is listed — an expired registration or inspection can stop a trip and create liability.

Which vehicles are eligible

Belo Rentals currently sets no maximum vehicle age or mileage. Financed and leased vehicles may apply if your lender or lessor agreement permits rental use — you confirm this when you apply.

• Salvage and rebuilt titles are not accepted
• Car must be registered, insured, inspected where required, safe, and clean

Prohibited renter uses

Vehicles listed on Belo may not be used for for-hire, rideshare, or delivery activity. Make these limits clear in your listing and set travel limits appropriate to your comfort and your insurer's requirements.

Keep good records

Retain your registration, inspection, insurance confirmation, and trip records. Good records support you if a question ever comes up with a renter, an insurer, or the RMV.
