Understanding earnings

How Host Earnings Work on Belo Rentals

Your earnings depend on the price you set, your availability, and demand — there are no guarantees, and we never describe hosting as passive income. What we can tell you is how the math works: you keep your full listed rate with no host commission, plus the approved host charges tied to your vehicle. Use the earnings calculator on our Become a Host page to estimate your own numbers.

Keep your full rate

When your car rents at your price, you receive that full listed rate — no host commission deducted.

Approved charges are yours

Delivery, extra-mileage, late, cleaning, smoking, cancellation, and refueling charges go to you.

Weekly payouts

Eligible earnings are initiated by Stripe ACH every Friday.

What affects your earnings

Pricing, how many days your car is available, your vehicle type, your location, cleanliness and reviews, and overall demand all influence how often you book and at what rate. Because these vary, actual earnings differ for every host — estimates are not guarantees.

What is not counted as earnings

Taxes and government-imposed charges are separate and are never described as host earnings. Any customer-facing service fee is charged to the renter separately and is not taken from your listed rate.

Hosts maintain their own insurance and are responsible for claims. Belo Rentals does not provide host insurance or physical-damage protection.

Frequently asked questions
